This is beatiful...are you a computer animator, or a student? This is quality work. ^^ Very nice.
Dame Althsatia by @greghenl (Greg Henle)
8in. by 10.5in. high quality prints are available on poster paper and canvas.
(additional info) Part of a series of characters. She is the only woman knight in a group of knights (Knights of the Stone). I didn't want too much going on in the background and I wanted eye level to say "I'm an equal". The next in the series is the paladin (Templar). A very imposing character. I plan on using a camera angle where you are looking up.

wow your art is really something! i am SO impressed. I've been dying to learn 3d figure sculpture for years now so i guess this is the time to hit the books and try find some softwear:) Thanks for inspiring me:) Oneee day i SHALL create CG images of my charas, oh yes, lol.
Hey, i'm part of a highs chool animation team and were doing some modeling which will include hundreds of characters. For the face should we use nurbs or spline-patch? we are basing our modeling in 3ds max v.4.2 We have everything else, and $17,000 in softwear, we even have texturing programs to make the skin look realistic wiht bump maps. ANd the skill, just wondering the best aproach, thanks.
I love her stride -- it has such presence! Great lighting and background details, too.
My little nitpick (since I could never create anything as fabulous) is that...the composition's just a tad dull. She's about in the middle, and...there's just not much going on. Perhaps putting us below her, or above her, or placing the camera someplace else would make this more interesting?
Very nice job, though! :D
