Drew this in my sketchbook this past summer and decided to finish it. It's of Leon and Joshua. Leon is the latest addition to my cast of characters and has a somewhat concrete story surrounding him. For now I'll say he's Joshua's best friend and they grew up together. Leon has actually made a tiny appearance in one of my previous pictures. Not too hard to spot, but he's there. XP

Quick, cheap background as usual. Perhaps I'll come back and redo it to what I had in mind. Until then, this version will do.

I really like it when you do dynamic, full-body poses like this. They always come out looking like painted animation cels :)

I think my favorite part of this is their expressions. They're sort of subtle, and can be read in a number of different ways which is rare in anime. I like it a lot nod
