She'll fall into an enchanted sleep...
She'll fall into an enchanted sleep... by @Takker (Katie Panagakis)

well on Monday we'll be starting a new project in art class. I guess we just have to illustrate for a book and I was thinking of sleeping beauty. This isn't what I'm turning in, but this is what my drawing is gonna end up looking like.

I kinda like this. it has a sort of stained glass look to it. but for some reason the lines look really thick. and yes, I know. she doesn't have a face

and if you're wondering, those grey things on her shoulders were part of her dress, but I guess I should have done them a different color because now they look like wings. oops :P

That's a beautiful composition for the Sleeping Beauty story (one of my absolute favorites, I have to confess.) I especially like how you have the light falling on her, and the flower petals--it's like a moment frozen in time. I do agree that it looks like stained glass, and I think that's pretty cool. Be sure to post your finished work here, okay? :) Good luck!
