Actions Speak Louder than Words
Actions Speak Louder than Words by @kidkourage (KidK Mirai)

Do you hear me? Do you care?

My mouth is moving and there’s sounds coming out The words are audible but I have my doubts That you realize what’s been said.

You look at me as if you’re in a daze It’s like the feeling at the end of a page When you realize you don’t know what you’ve just read.

What are words for? When no one listens anymore When no one listens, what are word for? When no one listens, there’s no use talking at all.

I might as well go up and talk to a wall ‘Cause all these words are having no effect at all It’s a funny thing…am I all alone?

Something has to happen now to change the direction What little filters through is giving you the wrong impression It’s a sorry state…I say to myself:

What are words for? When no one listens anymore When no one listens, what are word for? When no one listens, there’s no use talking at all.

Do you hear me? Do you care?

Let me get by… Over your dead body… Hope to see you soon… When will I know…? Doors three feet wide with no locks, open Walking always backwards… In the faces of strangers… Time could be my friend But it’s next to nowhere now

Pursue a little further and another thing you find Not only are the deaf and dumb, they could be going blind No one notices…I think I’ll dye my hair blue

Media overload bombarding you with action It’s getting near impossible to cause distraction Someone answer me before I pull the plug

What are words for? When no one listens anymore When no one listens, what are word for? When no one listens, there’s no use talking at all.

Do you hear me?
Do you care?

Tell me—what are words for?

--Missing Persons, "Words"

~~~ The last holiday today--March 4--is my Dib headvoice's 16th birthday! ^.^ I'm putting this one up last of the three because I think it came out the best so I want it to be the one that stays on the front page of my gallery. 9.9 Anyway! u.u; This is a songpic, obviously, for the song above, which is one of my Dib's theme songs. It fits so darned perfectly! The only thing that makes him wish it was NOT his theme song is that it's sung by a squeeky-voiced woman. =B But yeah. It's very representative of his radical liberal self. ...yes, his hair's blue. Read the song lyrics. And also...blue, y'know? Democratic? nudgenudge And the propaganda machine is red? Yes? Yes? u.u; Leave it to Dib to have a political satire as his birthday picture. Happy 16th, man!
