Merry Christmas, Stephanie!
Merry Christmas, Stephanie! by @Wren (S.A. Skinner)

I just finished this for my nieces Christmas present (hence the title) and figured this was a good place to show it off. I don't do a whole lot of fan art so this was sort of a refreshing change of pace for me.

Very nice! I enjoy the pose very much, and the mysterious expression is almost seductive, with that glare and almost-pout. The hair is really nicely done, it looks almost feathery, and I'm quite impressed at the detail you put into her costume and the rose.

The lighting seems off, though, because the logo? in the background is ultra-shiny, and she doesn't have any highlights that are that bright. The metallic quality of that wouldn't suit any other part of her outfit, since you were going for a soft, realistic style of coloring, but a brighter gleam on areas like her fingernail or the shoulder-armor she is wearing, or a highlight on her earring.

I'm quite impressed with how well you did realistic shading in this piece, it's very soft looking. Please keep it up! :)
