A finished (and later framed) drawing of the Red Cloud, a chief of the Oglala Sioux. It was drawn in pencil and I used a post card photo as reference, the photo was taken around the turn of the century. Won a blue ribbon on it at the local fair. Decided to draw it because my grandfather resembled Red Cloud.

This really is a great picture. I'm a big fan of Red Cloud and I think you did a great job :D

Lovely work. The combination of sharply defined lines with realistic drawing and shading give this picture a unique cartoony-realism quality that's a real pleasure to look at. I can see why you won a ribbon on it. You certainly spared no effort and it looks wonderful. Nice work.

Amazing work......you are far from lazy at details....Thats were I fail... I can draw but the body details I hate....Good work...........Shirley
