Frequent Flyer
Frequent Flyer by @ajfox (A Girtz)

Remember the flying squirrel from the RT24 Missouri drawing? She's back and flying into action for our team.  Drawing practice with the aim of working on areas that need improvement.  A much needed switch to simpler artwork, but still a lot of work to be done.

For those interested; I referenced the Bell Jet Ranger 206 for the helicopter, but had to take my best guess as to what it would look like from that angle.

Look everyone it's a flying fox!

oh wait it's one of them flyin squirrels.

hope she has a parachute cause travelling at that falling speed which can be up to 240kph it would be difficult to even open up a gliding suite properly at that speed of descent.

@XxTheCreativeKitsunexX: It's fascinating to me how quick-thinking and fearless squirrels can be in their element.  How they can leap from great heights like it's nothing, all the while quickly calculating their trajectory and landing.  Something I'd hoped to capture with this image.  Oddly enough, I thought about a supporting comic for this picture today.  Hmmmm...........
