[Lancer] The joy of having a Kidd
[Lancer] The joy of having a Kidd by @Jops556 (Jops)

Based on Lancer TTRPG.

The Kidd is a mech frame that comes with a powerful orbital-strike satellite, however it's not always ready to use. Much like Garrus, it is constantly calibrating, so you gotta savor the moment when it's finally done with it.

I love the aesthetic of your tech and mechs, also your characters clothing.

Such a noble bright quality to it.

Though I'm guessing things aren't always so optimistic and amicable in this setting.

I think in a previous submission you said there were horror elements.

@The-Wizard-of-Zaar: Thanks. I'm glad you like them. ^^

Not all my sci-fi pictures are in the same setting, despite looking like they might belong together due to, well, being drawn in my style. This is based on the game 'Lancer', which is about big Mech battles. You can play it as an heroic campaign with larger than life villains or as a grim and dark "war is hell" one (with anything in between). The tone and mood of the setting is often decided before the game begins, but I think Lancer works significantly better with the former. The other submission you're referring was made for a "Those Dark Places" game, which, as the name suggest, is indeed geared towards slow-burning, creeping horror and is clearly inspired by movie "Alien".

@Jops556:

Well then I guess I have to say you have a charming aesthetic to your art.

Good work.
