The Gerumaio is NOT a Tyrannosaur, and the Kai is NOT a velociraptor. They are the descendents of these dinosaurs 35 million years into the future. It's basically the story of what would have happened if Dinosaurs continued to evolve if there wasn't some catastrophe that destroyed them. The Armor on the Gerumaio isn't really for protection, but rather for intimidation, like Indian war-elephants.

This is just fantastic; I'd love to see some closeups of the details.
I think the rider's head gets lost among the ridee's detail down in that area; perhaps more shading and contrast would help this pic "read" better (all the detail can be confusing to look at at times).
