Tyrant reveals that he knows about the Avengers' plan to alter the future and attempts to stop them, but is ultimately defeated. Venturing further into Tyrant’s territory, future and present-day Niceshot finds Curry, Penelope, numerous SHIELD and AIM agents, and Kree Sentries frozen in time by the Cosmic Cube, which Penelope built to help defeat the Kree. However, the cube trapped her and those around her in a time bubble while the rest of the world collapsed into chaos. With no hope of rescuing Curry, future Niceshot asks his present day self to never give up on the Avengers so that this future does not happen. Niceshot vows to do so, abandoning his retirement plans as he and the other Avengers return to the present.
