That is one crazy spell. I really love the way it looks, very action packed and dangerous. Is he pulling it from that pendant?

I think the background is a little too dark and plain, though. It's slightly distracting. Other than that, this is one amazing pic! Keep up the good work!

Nice dynamic pose here, all the movement really brings it to life. Nicely shaded, for the most part. Some highlights in the hair would help. Some of the shadows in the hair kind of confuse the viewer to the shape of it, too, but for the most part it looks good. Interesting effects with the spell. I've never seen magic effects drawn so opaquely, yet it works well in this case. I agree with liliwagn that the background does need something more, but other than that, nice work.
