I'm damaged. I draw strange and unholy things. I need to be sent away. ...at least that's what I told my mother while she watched me scan this drawing of Faia emerging from the shadows. Like I said, she's loosing her powers, hence the strange, oddly consigned look on her face. Must be strange indeed, to have what you've known most of your life taken away. The idea here is amazing. Like how you worked the hand, arm, face- the curve of the bust just feels weird, though. Not sure why.
But one thing I need to point out is the blacks in the shadows. When you were filling the outline black (it's the darker one here) You should have used a tone that more closely resembled the shadows pulling at her. With the sudden angular tone change, it's a distraction...
