O.O WOW! I am REALLY flatered! Thank you for the response,
hmmm... You ask of me totell you what I used um... well for one thing yes you are right about the pens not being used for larger areas * I am planning on getting better pens for this predicamet...
And as for the line art I use Micron sakura pens they work a little well but not as good as what I've seen so far...
Thanks, I really do work hard on my pony tails took me FOREVER! to get that style out of them
WOW! I saw your art on your gallery quite impressive hope to see more ^_^
This is a really adorable friendship picture. The pose is very cute--and I think you look comfortable being 'stuck together.' I'm impressed with your style, it's very original--like furry meets caricature meets anime, a bit. :) Definetly like nothing I've ever seen before.
The markers you used seemed to work well for doing the strands of hair in the highlights, but I'm guessing they're water-based? and they aren't very good for coloring larger areas, like the ears, neatly. I really would recommend using an alcohol based marker for the larger areas, saving the watercolor ones for details and the hair technique I previously pointed out. Try Prismacolor (is that what you used for the skin, though? The skin doesn't look to be watercolor marker) and if you can afford it, I 100% recommend Copic markers--unfortunately, you have to import them from Japan, so it's a tad expensive, but they are SO worth it.
The lineart is very impressive. What did you use for it? I really like how the lines undulate to show different thicknesses and textures and whatnot. That's something I strive for in my artwork, though never in quite as exaggerated a manner as here (though in this case, exaggerated is GOOD, mind you.)
And I love the ponytails. They're all SWOOSH! It adds lots of interest to the composition!
