she dreams in fuschia
she dreams in fuschia by @magenta (Laurel)

So I recieved my wacom tablet in the mail, and have been experimenting on my newly-downloaded trial of opencanvas. Much trial and error. I need more reliable methods.

Anyway, its magenta, err, fuschia. I really don't even like pink or purple that much. :P

Wow! That was done on computer? Its absolutely beautiful, Its really cool how you made it all reddy, the only thing I think needs work, is the tail, you can't really see it, but you may have a reason for it to be like that, how its supposed to be trial and error, or something. Overall its very good, and very realistic.

Correction, fuschianess.

thank you! The reason you cannot see the tail completely is because of the perspective and it being hidden behind the little foalie's butt. :P yay fuschianess! :D

I love how soft everything is (I suppose that can be attributed to the program, huh?). You don't see OC paintings very often...I like the look ^^

The anatomy is excellent (not that I'm a major guru on animal structures mind you), I love how confident and alert it is. The bulkyness of the head is nice too...I like the shape of the bridge of its nose :).

Nice stuff

Thank you! Checked out your gallery, you have some awesome painter stuff. I would die to have that program.. well, have the $ for it. But its not like I have anything now that I bought my tablet. :)

That more-bulky nose is called a "roman nose" and is found on draft breeds, mustangs, and some others. I don't know if you're very familiar with horses, but everyone seems to like to draw the delicate arab noses and faces, whose noses are quite opposite of the roman. I just love the slopiness of it, the powerful yet soft feeling.

Thank you again!

I thnk I'll check out the rest of your gallery now nod Expect more drawn out comments, haha
