Orora - coloured version!
Orora - coloured version! by @zenphoenixa (Annabel Lee)

I said I'd elaborate on Orora so elaborate I shall - I did a bit of thinking and I've come up with a bit of background: Orora is technically a Keepyr (long story =P) but she's been Bound, as you can see by the black cords around her limbs. The reason? Well, Orora is sort of an embarrassment in her world, since she was born to be an Imperial (or a monarch) and no Imperial has ever been born a Keepyr. This has happened because of imbreeding in the Imperial line, for Orora is the daughter of not only a Faeline but also an Avian. Shock, horror! Not allowed! Her wings sprouted when she young, but were torn out in order to hide her lineage and because she would've been considered a mutant with six limbs and her Keepyr potential was literally Bound so that she could serve as Imperial and continue tradition. Her wings are brown because they withered away, but who's to say they can't grow back....? The only reason why she hasn't been repudiated is because of the Star Cross which she has the ability to wield, thus marking her a royal blood, considering anyone else would have their fingers severed if they tried! As it is, Orora has been long concealed, as you can see in the outfit she's been long wearing (in my archive =P) which hides nearly all of her 'defects'. I decided to show her as she should be shown, though she still looks a bit grumpy. ^_^;; That's just a basic run down of things....

And yes, Orora looks like a Ronso from FFX but that was just coincidence. =P Artwork © Copyright 2003 Annabel Lee

That is a gorgeous image. The coloring makes it look like she's standing in bright sunlight, almost like she's glowing in it. That picture's very intricate and flowing, and the composition is just excellent. I'm not too strong into the furry circles of art, but this picture is making me rethink that ^_~ Make more beautiful things!
