Uh, er... it's... a Metara Chao.

Okay... this was the first pic I did in a program called OpenCanvas, which I'm sure everyone reading this has already heard of... suffice it to say it's new to me because I'm a clueless newbie. I learned my craft on Photoshop, and OC's layers make me go " AAARGHAAARGHAAARGHWTF???!!?!"

That said, I love the look. I'm definitely going to try and clean up/develop my work in OC. I'm moving away from using bright colours too - some of my older pics look horribly oversaturated. I learned from someone here that the grayer side of the palette can look nicer and more realistic.

Sketched and outlined in Photoshop ('cause I'm a coward) and painted with the Watercolor brush and a great deal of swearing in OpenCanvas 1.1.

Chao! I have two chao who don`t stop having kids. O_o;

I like your chao design, he looks so cool. Wonder if you can really make a chao like that in the games?
