Wow -- I haven't updated here in so long! This is an illustration from my story I'm working on - "Red Roses for the Devil" (characters & story copyrighted to me) This is one of the great Gatekeepers of Heaven - Isiiren (Ih - seer - ren)

This one took a lot to do, but I'm so proud of it -- it came out nearly exactly how I wanted it...sometimes that's a hard thing to do.

VERY neat-looking character. Love the pose and the shape of the face... Great detailing in the wings, and the border goes with the image quite well.
