A character who appears in Wolfgang Hohlbeins 'Die Chronik der Unsterblichen' (Chronicle of the Immortals). She is a gipsy and not as nice as she looks.

Sehr schön! I love that you're not afraid to use contrasts in your images (like the shadows for her chin and hair). I like, too, that the earrings look like they're actually THROUGH her pierced ears.

I do have a couple...not nits, but things to notice next time. First, the blue REALLY, REALLY jumps out at me--almost like it's not a part of the same picture. But this might just be a characteristic of the character. And they are beautiful eyes. But if you look at your entire palette, they seem totally off the map. Maybe sometime, you could put a light "rose" wash over them, to see what they might look like closer to your palette.

Finally, while I like her rosy cheeks and forehead and nose, it seems like her chin and neck get rather grey--almost reminiscent of men's chin stubble. I wouldn't know how to solve that, though, I'm still learning this portraiture thing myself!

Thanks for sharing!
