Saluting A Small Hedgehog
Saluting A Small Hedgehog by @Kachi (Hannah-Beth Carter)

Nope, I can't take credit for the title: that goes to a friend of mine. He saw the base layer version, and made me laugh:

[02:07] [Wallrod] the skaterlady looks like she's saluting a very small hedgehog

So... no, the grass is not complete. And no it won't be... there also won't be any ripples more on the water unless I get bored sometime... Yes, there are a few mistakes in it, that's usual for me. -_-;

But I love her hair. That's my favourite bit. You may not be able to see the shadows so well, but I love the highlights and they weren't even frustrating to do after a while.

And yes, I like big 80s anime hair.

Maybe one day I'll draw the saluting hedgehog too.

That is an AWESOME title. I love it.

Her pose is really good--rendered quite well, and you've drawn the background very, very well. The only thing I would suggest is more highlights--don't be afraid to use white. It would really make the image pop out more.

Did I mention that she has a really awesome outfit? The details on the buckles on her stockings and the patterns on the skates are really great details that bring out this image even more. Great job!
