That didn't mean the old triangle was confined to history, at least not yet.

In celebrating their 40th aniversary in 1995, ABC recreated their B&W ident, and updated with the ITV network symbol underneath. But, as the celebrations came to a close, the old triangle finally left the TV screen for good.
