Ink! Real ink!
Ink! Real ink! by @deaddays (John Rios)

I'm just going to level with you all. I've been using a Sharpie to ink all (or most anyway) of my drawings. I was YET to really experiment with the kind of pens you have to DIP into actual INK! I've used them before, but not to a great extent. I have to say I was a bit frightened. But today I went you and bought a pen set with a bunch of ink and I faced my fears dang it! And to my surprise, it's not so hard! It's alot like a Sharpie only slower and WAY messy-er. Plus it does a TON of things a Sharpie doesn't! This doesn't mean I'm dumping my trusted Sharpie that took me so long to master, but I will be working with ink more until I master that bastard thing too! Here are the first ink drawings I did, just kinda experimenting. The brushes I bought work well with my style. This was fun. Pretty much interesting only to me. :-) Artwork © Copyright 2002 John Rios
