T'was brillig, and the slithy toves, did gyre . . . by @catrine (Hayley Price)

Have you ever noticed that Alice in Wonderland-type episodes are unusually frequent in anime? And have you ever noticed that the only character who has any idea of whatever's going on turns up as the cheshire cat?

The song the cat sings in the Disney movie is the first and last canto of Jabberwocky, which I know all of. The poem, not the song. Well, I suppose that means I know both.

I thought this up, and had to draw it. I've introduced this character to you before in many forms under many names, but today she's just . . . me . . .

Only I don't have the cool shirt, or the bow. Or the ears and tail, but that's just normal.

I thought this was really good, considering I'd never done the pose before, and was out of practice with colored pencils.

vanished until all that's left of her is her grin
