That's Elda and Freya (Chii and Dark Chii) from Chobits. Chobits is one of my manga favorites, it's so beautiful.

This image is rather funny. Or queer, perhaps. It was originally a pencil drawing, but I played with Adobe Photoshop a bit. X)

It's kinda messy and all, but I like it. Especially Freya turned out well.. ^^;;

I'm not familiar with the comic to which you refer, but am impressed with this artwork nonetheless. You've created an eerie spectral image, hauntingly reminiscent of early 1980's horror films of the great independant film artist Kirk Martin.
Quite impressive!
