Race Goddess, Mia Starr
Race Goddess, Mia Starr by @Mark_Kirisawa (Mark Kirisawa)

Mia is a side character in Soul Restrain that comes to Japan to go to school, but her brother, not so good the racer, owes a big race crew some money. She finds the guy with the best car, which happens to be Mark, races him and looses. She recruits him to race to get her brother out of the jam. That's the basic gist of her story. Anyways, this was a pretty quick sketch of Mia, done in 2002 in pen while listening to some teach lecture about something I already knew in art class. Not bad for a rough concept of her. The model I for her was Jasmine Fox Li, a very beautiful import model.

A good one! Plus that she's beautiful, she looks very real. You've done the shading (if that's what you call making the shadows) extremely well. I can't believe you call it quick! :) Those little details - the belt, the jewellery, the tattoo, the glasses, the bones below her neck - bring much liveliness to the picture. Can't tell you how to improve from that!
