Shotoha (Progress Model 101211, 2nd update)
Shotoha (Progress Model 101211, 2nd update) by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)

After I took that snapshot of the previous progress model, I got bored and started working on it some more. This was the result it yielded. I really wanted to try a few different things with this ship. For instance, you'll notice that this model doesn't have the nacelles extended away from its body. That's because these nacelles can extend and retract depending on the ship's method of travel: retracted for faster-than-light speeds, and extended for stability while traveling at sub-light speeds. Also, those strange blocks of color on the hull are weapon ports. The weapons themselves retract into the hull and only extend when the ship's ready for a fight.
