Okay, so I hated the gaudy artsy photoshop thing I did with this sketch, and I like how the sketch came out on its own, so it gets uploaded instead. Nyeh. I got a new anatomy book and I'm trying to do realistic sketches of the characters in da comic.
Well, you know, not real realism. Comic realism. Judge Parker realism.

Her face has a nice genuine touch to it. And I like her bangs. Something about the left side of the image (with the big dollop of hair, and the far ear) bothers me, though I couldn't really tell you what. www.anticz.com has some great head and face drawing tutorials, if you haven't seen those yet. They're fun and filled with goodness.
