A . . . Priest's(?) tears
A . . . Priest's(?) tears by @chaosmage (Yaminah Tashanazi)

Was trying out my new Intuous 3 WACOM tablet on Photoshop 7. This the first thing I've done that's actually come decent and worth posting. I think I may post the first finished image I did though later . . .

I really don't know how this guy turned out to be a priest. Especially with his little face markings and whatnot. 0_o I originally drew him and then he became a priest . . . So then I did the background and I like how the stained glass window came out (which is really the only thing I didn't draw, I tweaked, but there's the wonderful effect of Photoshop). The background is kinda supposed to be scribbly . . . and I'm trying to ignore the crooked pew. >.>;; Oh well. I like the candles.

Pretty much the result of watching Hellsing, reading Hellsing manga . . . and listening to the ending song "Shine" . . . Sooo . . . yeah. LOL

Aw, I love this. He looks so wistful/sad. With the combination of orange hair and black face markings, though, he reminds me of a tiger. XD

The stained glass window you did is awesome and really helps capture the location of the church. And the font you used for the text is perfect. ^^ What is it called?

I kinda thought he looked like a tiger too. LOL It didn't occur to me until I did it, but the effect is nice. I really see him as the one that's saying the lyrics and maybe an elder priest is talking to him, seeing how the poor guy is wasting away (which is why he has such dark circles under his eyes, he hasn't slept.) It really seems to hold potential for a short story . . .

The font is called Morpheus or something like that . . . I'll have to find the site I downloaded it on.
