A character from my "fic-dream" described in the Tikal pic, Kato is the younger brother of Knuckles and older brother of Kira. Being the most peaceful of the three, he opposes his siblings' violent quest for power. Even in exile, his mother Tikal serves as his mentor. After I told Para about my dream, he helped me develop Kato as a character (I only had vague impressions of Knux/Kira's brother in the dream). He found a fitting Gaelic name for him (Kato means "good judgement"), and suggested that I use a sunset motif for his coloring. Thus, I made this concept pic to help me get a clearer image of him for when/if I actually write the fic. Hopefully I'll have a concept pic for Kira soon, too...
