Well it's a younger Kenshin, notice that there is no cross shapped scar. I just thought it would be nice to draw Kenshin in a more peaceful setting. There wasn't supposed to be a background for this picture, but that looked boring so I added some leaves and the sky. I was trying to bring the focus back to Kenshin. I hope it looks alright. ^^

Very beautiful! Excellently detailed and colored. The shading and lighting effects are absolutely superb, and Kenshin's expression is just the way you say you wanted it to come out. I'm actually quite intrigued by the fact that he lacks his trademark scar. It was a good idea on your part to add in the background since it doesn't just slap Kenshin into the middle of nowhere. Marvelous piece of artwork you have here! Thumbs up to you!

How can this pic only have one comment? So sad...it's ok though there'll be two now. Anyways I love Kenshin's face...he's so handsome. *Grins I would just love to be standing there next to him, but sadly I'm not a cartoon cries and sits thinking about being an anime character ...well...this is a beautiful pic. I'll be going now...
