Glimmer in the Darness
Glimmer in the Darness by @westlilleah (Lilleah Aawest)

the 7 seas of Lothlorian are inhabited by many a wondrous creatures, up at the surface where the light is bright and true many bright and dazzling creatures roam, selkies, sea dragons, and brightly colored mer folk and hippocampus. but as you go lower, deeper into the oceans depths it becomes colder, and darker, and so lonely. but even down here where only a small amount of light filters down from the surface there is brilliant life, you see it only for an instant, the shimmer of a scale, the bright magenta color silhouetted against a beam of sun. a small light begins to glow, just a little a first but then it grows brighter you see them, a mermaid of the darkness, her fins more like fuzed feet, her body covered in dark scales, she sits upon her equine friend as if it were a throne, an angler hippocampus, a beautiful serpentine like creature of dark iridescent scales. then at the surface a cloud passes across the sun blocking out its light and shedding total darkness down in these dark depths, as the light begins to filter back through causing only a faint glimpse in the dark, they are gone, it seemed like they were only there for an instant, and now you begin to doubt if they were ever really there at all or if all you saw was a glimmer in the darkness...

well, its not quite a dragon, but its close. it is a rather unknown fantasy animal known as a Hippocampus (hippo means horse by the way, i though the name was dumb beofore i found that out because i did not see how it looked like a hippopotamus, which means water horse) it is a half fish half horse creature that pulled the chariot of the sea god posidon/neptune. but in this case it turned out looking more dragon than merhorse so you can still rightfully call it a dragon...
