Just a sketch of one of the characters form the short lived Comic series, "Silke." I really liek the style of art in the books and I'll probably sketch some more of it.

Thank you! I do like this piece, particularly the Eyes.. I'm hoping to work up the corouage to actually flesh it out, but I tend to fear ruining pieces. thanks again!

Her intense stare caught me from the thumbnail. She defiinitely has the lip, form, and eye shape of comics from the early to late 90's. The style of it reminds me of Michael Turner's stuff (the artist of Witchblade):D

I wouldn't mind seeing this one finished up with ink and color. That'd add a bit of depth and also bring more attention to that intense glare

Why, thank you! As a matter of fact, the entire "Silke" series was written, drawn, and inked by Tony Daniel, a Dark Horse Productions artist who has worked somewhat closely with Michael Turner. I'm truly flattered that you find this image comparable to his own. Bless his heart, the man is an artistic genius! Thank you very much for the comment, and I'll work on making this more than just a petty sketch. Really, I just need to rescan it so I can ink it, and that requires me getting off my lazy rump.
