Aurora...no hair dye or contacts.
Aurora...no hair dye or contacts. by @ashlsmi2 (Ashley-Lynn Smith)

Okay * sighs and moves her hair* Here I go with the story of Aurora Tamagashi.

Back in the time of Inu Yasha ( before Kagome made her enterance) Kikyo had a twin sister, her name was Koame. One was chosen to become the priestess and one was chosen to be the guardian at a very young age. As you can tell Kikyo was chosen to be the priestess, and Koame was sent off to Train by herself as a little girl.

When she was off on her own Koame discovered a young little boy that looked like a puppy crying. ( everyone's favorite Inu Yasha at around 12 years of age) She asked him what was wrong and he asked her why she wasn't afrai of him because of his ears and that he was half a youkai, Koame merely blinked and said he didn't look funny...and asked to be his friend. And so started their friendship, going os far as to play wrestle with each other as they got older, learning how to fight and even Koame defended Inu Yasha when he was hurt from Sesshoumaru...they were practically brother and sister! One day when Koame was 17 she was traveling, she had aquired a magical fan that shot ice ( this the opposite of Tasuki from Fushigi Yuugi) and she had spiritual powers that were in her fists....she was attacked by a strange man whom called her Kikyo. Parrying the attack she had told him that she was not Kikyo but her sister Koame. The man she was facing off was Naraku, and in a bloody fight Koame was struck down paralyzed and left to bleed to death. Naraku came back soon after only to find her in her last minutes of life and being the a-hole he is, ( in my opinion) told her of what he had done to Kikyo and Inu Yasha, and their fates. Koame , furious and frustrated she could do nothing, swore she would never forget him and will hunt him down...and casted a spell on herself to be able to regain her memories as Koame....if she ever saw him again.

In the future, 17 year old Aurora Tamagashi lived in California as a martial artist, a surfer and 2nd on the track team....changing her own japanese appearance because everytime she looked in the mirror, the spell would waver alittle bit and would give her a massive headache. Well she became a foreign exchange student to Kagome's school and one day saw her dissapear into the well, and jumped in after her...and much to everyone's amazement when she came out on the other side. With no memory and very confused, they searched for her memory, and why Inu Yasha looked so dang familiar....that is the story...of Koame.

Wow. I'm impressed. It's been a while since I've seen someone with so much heart in their storyline.. I have a site that is going up in late 2004. It will feature different mangas made by myself, including an Inu-Yasha one. If you would like, of course, taking into account of the memory the site can hold - I could make this an AM for you. If you would like, of course. Either you or I could draw this storyline of yours, and it can then be entered onto the site. Anyway, enough about that. You have a really, really good storyline, AL-Chan. And a really good kyara design, it seems, by some of your work.. Keep that up. It would be good to see some of the people I talk to have their own mangas one day..
