A dragon flying
A dragon flying by @aggie (Jonathan Kane)

No, I did NOT steal furry dragons from someone else! I didn't even know other people had had the same idea when I drew this. I figured that since dragons are descended from theropod dinosaurs, and some of those have a furry covering, than dragons might have it, too. An animal that breathes fire would need some sort of insulation in order to maintain a high body temperature. Artwork © Copyright 2002 Jonathan Kane

who said you were stealing? a lot of us come up with things simultaneously. Here, it just looks as though you took a furry raptor and placed its descendants wings on its back ^^ Id say its a new type of dragon! totally not classic. Just one thing on the wings.. look out for the difference between feathers. theyre all rather dull tipped, which for flying creatures, the primary leading feathers usually arnt. the rest are rather rounded. erm.. yeah.. nice en. ^^
