I'm doing a tonne of trades at the mo and this is one of them. It's Spotted Lightning's character Nakari who looks pretty relaxed 'coz she's out of the reach of that annoying zebra. P.S drawing leaves is REALLY annoying

Hm. I like your attempt at angles. I like the kitty, and the try at a different position. But I do have nitpicks. Yes.

OK. From the camera's POV, we're above Mr. Zebra, right? So why are we seeing the underside of the tree (where it branches out to more leaves?). Shouldn't we be seeing more of the top of it? Or...hmm...just leaves that cover the top left corner (and leave Ms. Cheetah unobstructed?).

Anyways. Yeah. Watch for things like that. Perspective's tricky, but noticing little things can always add conviction, even when your specifics may not be RIGHT ON.

2ndly: I don't think square brushes work for foliage. I'd look for a more irregular brush, I guess. Or, if you have Painter, try to find something in PhotoShop that's like a watercolor brush, and build up big masses, with li'l differences in colors to show where the leaves change (I just did a pic called 'Alma's Autumn' with leaves in it, and they turned out convincing...for once!). Leaves are tricky.
And then, finally, I'd urge you to up the contrasts. Use light and shade to move our eyes to the main subjects. Maybe darkening some foliage behind the kitty so she looks brighter, you know? That sort of thing.

I like that you aren't afraid to use different angles to tell stories. So many people (like me) are stuck on using same angles and same distances and don't try to break free...And as a result, the message of the work suffers, 'cos it's not as dramatic as it could be.

And thanks for your kind messages of support, btw!
