Your first experience with Painter? So jealous! I still can't get it to quite do that. :D
I think it's lovely. I particularly like how you rendered the jade (it looks so.... glowy-from-within!) and that little shot to the right where you can see some of the front of her hair and the back of her hair. ::likes little details::
My only real critique would be with the shape of her nose. It looks somewhat thin up near the top, which makes her eye look huge (as in, more than usual with anime style).
Otherwise, I love it. It's very neat and I've bookmarked that link. :)
