A pencil I did in high school. One of my favorites I've ever done. The actual pic is too large for my scanner so this is only a section, lol. I drew this from a photograph I saw in Time magazine in the late 80's. If anyone knows the original photographer's name, let me know and I'll give them credit here.
There is flowing movement in your dancer's stillness. I know that this was a sketch from a photograph, but it feels as if you were actually there with her in her dressing room right before her last dance.
