Jake And The Applejuice
Jake And The Applejuice by @Obsidian_Wolfess (Anna Tykowski)

This comic is read left to right.

THIS IS A TRUE STORY THAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED! Four years ago when my section leader (Jake) was a freshman at WP. It was his first year marching in Hanover Township Day's parade with the marching band. He retold this story on Hanover Township Day of last year, and I have made his tale into a comic now. I'm gonna miss you, Jake. You were an awesome section leader. ::Hugs him::

AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE COMIC, READ THE FOLLOWING BELOW:

I didn't color it, so I'm not sure if you could pick up on this. Anyone who lives in my town knows that.. 1. Applejuice is never given out. 2. The only drinks available are water, soda, and beer.

I like it. Interesting story, really, drawings are good, too. I like how you did the paws in the third frame, I'm betting it took a bit of practice to get that down. Comics like these I can apprichiate alot, they get the point across without making people say "Well, it was a good comic, but now I'm depressed and jealous that I can't use photoshop that well..." etc., etc. Your drawings have good expression and are really solid. And your handwriting is legeble too! The narritive is cool, although it seems your clothing (the shirts, yes), could use a little work, although I know it's a comic and supposed to be informal and all that, comics can also be an oppurtunity to improve artwurk in general. The appearance of the character on the left in the final frame seems a bit off, although the point is carried across, it seems you might need to do some work on that angle for doggehs.

Good.

Thanks for the positive feedback.

Nobody ever said our tour shirts were cool.. =P I don't normally draw clothes, so I avoid that stuff for the most part.

I know I need to work on angles.. It will all come in time.

Thanks for coming out today, -Sidi
