Biography

Hullo! :o)

I'm Beth. I'm 18 years old, recently escaped from highschool and soon to be enrolled at the lovely University of Kentucky (go Wildcats!). I'm a Christian (though, I think of myself as being very open-minded, as the stereotype of most Christians, sadly, is not.), an animal lover, a music fiend, and very much a child at heart. I love cartoons, have a thing for stuffed animals, and greatly enjoy certain children's books, especially the Harry Potter series. I'm a little bit hippie, a touch gothic, a bit of a punk, a smidge raver, very dramatic and nonconformist, so I cannot stick to any one style for long. My wardrobe is a melting pot of thrift store finds, flares, preppy tees from Gap and American Eagle, and a calvalcade of other oddities including a purse made of a liscense plate and several homeade items. I refuse to be labeled.

I live in a small town and graduated from a small public school at which I was valedictorian of my (small) class. I am TIRED of small town people (and mainly of their SMALL minds). I despise hatred and biggotry ESPECIALLY when it is related to the church. People who hate anyone because of their race or sexual preference, yet dare to call themselves 'Christian' make me utterly nauseous. Also, the fact that everyone in this town thinks they have to massacre helpless forest creatures to prove their masculinity makes me cringe.

Um.. as you can see, I am prone to ramble for long periods of time. I can be very cynical and sarcastic (friends have compaired me to the mighty Daria, though I do have an affinity for bright colors that prevents me from being her). I am straightforward and brutally honest, can be shy, and gravitate toward all things romantic, though, unfortunately, I have no significant other. And um.. that's about it.
