Biography

Welcome to my little pocket of the Side7 universe. I'm just a high school student from western Ohio who enjoys creating things, like worlds and characters and storylines to bring them all together. Writing is my favorite pastime; my art complements my stories. I've always thought that the most interesting artwork is that which either tells a story or helps to tell a story, so I try to work that idea into my art.

I have a novel in the works with a friend by the name of Mitch de la Guardia as well as several short story/novellas, but I also spend a lot of time on RP boards, mainly fantasy, and mainly anthro or gryphon based, hence the focus of my art. I've always loved both sci-fi and fantasy. I've taken a lot of inspiration from writers such as C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, Brian Jacques, Frank Peretti, and Diane Carey, to name a few. I'm also a big fan of both Star Trek and Babylon 5 (yes, it can be done).

I hope to become a published author and, eventually, a full-time novelist--but doesn't everyone? Until then, I plan to keep practicing my writing and my artwork. Of course, my free time comes and goes, so I don't always have the chance to do what I feel like doing. I'm not opposed to art trades, but, if you ask, you may or may not get a positive response, depending on my current workload. Comments are always appreciated, as is good constructive crticisim.

One last thing to note, something that is very important to understanding who I am. My first love is given to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the author my life. I write and draw because He's given me the ability, and I think it's a great way to give the honor back to Him, because, without Him, I am nothing.
