Biography

At a time of darkness, there was a light. A child born into this world of breath and beauty. Although, too soon, reality closed it's grip upon her throat. A whisper of truth remains, a shread of a heart that once loved strongly, and a soul that is still searching...

My name, is Barbara Herodes. I am Arazia Kaeylon. I was born in the southern suburbs of Chicago, IL, and I'm 21 years old. I am a computer science major, and I currently am a Senior at Northern Illinois University. I began in art my freshmen year of college, when I roomed with a terrific artist known on the internet as E. I was already emersed in this world of role-play fantasy, but it only proved to blossom my creativity towards art as well as words. It was a slow going process. Most of what I have learned to draw has been from practicing and watching others. I have no real art training at all. The lines I draw on paper are just as powerful as any words of poetry or prose that I could spin.

I most often tend to draw in two genres, Gargoyles and Lion King Fanart. Lately I did delve into drawing humans for a breif period of time while playing a new RPG. I am still learning a lot about body structures and balance in drawings, but my style has developed by leaps and bounds over the last six months or so.
