Biography

Welcome to Chris Geiger's Gallery. Here you will find many of his different styles of art, ranging from Anime to Furres.

-Information on the Artist-
About Me: I've been drawing for about 10 years now, and I've been aspiring to become better as years go by.

My Influences: When I was younger, I read comic books fluently. Spider-Man, X-Men, Batman, I read them all for many years, only stopping once I had to pay money for about 10 books a month...which for a 9 year old, was a pretty steep cost. These comic books kept me wishing to become like the great artists of those books, their styles and such eventually influcing my own. My Sega Genesis even inspired me, with games like Sonic The Hedgehog, whose are was different and interesting. It wasn't until I actually watched anime for the first time though, that I started drawing more. When I was 12, I saw Sailor Moon for the second time, and actually watched it (I had 'seen' when I was younger, but I never really payed attention to it because it came on so early). The style of Sailor Moon was intriguing and I worked on my art continuously for years, mixing it's style with that of Dragonball Z, which became increasingly popular at that time. Dragonball Z made me watch more animes(Princess Mononoke, Ranma 1/2, Ghost in the Shell, Macross Plus, etc.) and mixed with my style. I burned out for a year after drawing anime for so long, finally regaining a spark of enthusiasm from seeing the art of my new artistic hero, J. Axer. His furre artwork, which mixed anime and the "Sonic The Hedgehog" style, gave me a new bit of interest, something more to work with. I am now 16, and I am constantly drawing everyday.

What I'm Working On: 'The Sagas' comic series, The Vision of Us web site, and 'The Sagas' RPG Video Game

Thank You's: First, I'd like to say thank you to Axer for giving me the inspiration to work on my art. Then I'd like to thank my best friend, Drew, who constantly pokes and prods me to work on certain things in my style, and for being such a good friend. Thanks to Lacey, Nicole, Brittany, and Kaitlyn, for being my 'family.' ^^ And last, but not least, my mom, for being so supportive.

-I do art trades and commissions!
