My Comments:

NYWAAAH -- faints -- Jessica is TIRREEED (that's me btw.. ;-) Auggh, this fanart has been eating away at me for the last two days, and it's been a heckuva lot more work than I thought it would be! ^^;;

Okay, first of all, this goes out to my best bud Molly-chan for getting me randomly back INTO Escaflowne, this AWESOME series, in which VAN IS MIIINEE!!! (Just to let you know ;-) And also to the two Alison-Mystic Blues (they know what I mean ;-) for always being such awesomeEsca people XD!! Well, since the past obsession was sparked again, I just felt this urge to do a fanart of the magnificent series, but also to try something new... like an original group picture like we have here ^__^ The first few drawing attempts came out BAD. Let's just say that ^^;; After getting some inspiration after looking at a few DBZ group pictures, eventually the image started to fit together. I decided to use the "good" characters from the series, and the rest of the series elements in the background, including Escaflowne, Zaibach, a Fanelia building, and Alseides to represent good old Dilly XD. The text was incorporated from the actual Escaflowne English logo.

Now, off to the artwork details. This artwork surprised me! See, I did the foreground charas in markers, but not too many Copics, but CHEAP markers from a garage sale! They worked out better than I thought they would, neh? ^_^ The Copics helped smooth them over though, but it was great to have a larger colour selection. The background was done ENTIRELY in pencil crayon, which kinda murdered me since that took forever in itself ¬¬**

But overall, the collaboration of images and mediums worked out pretty well, and now it kinda looks like a shitajiki (pencil board) to me ^^; Well, I hope you liked it everyone! Thanks for viewing :-)

Peace. Love. Anime.
