Okee... in tradition, I shall show you what i have so far on this picture! Tis Lucas if ya don't remember. I'm doing his hair somewhat differently, more realistic. We'll see where that goes. Anyways, I changed his pants some, made them more baggy. A friend informed me that not many goths where tighter pants (she has some goth friends, so I'm taking her word for it, cuz I personally don't know any) Anyways, I'll be coloring this soon. Gotta figure out a way to make his net shirt look cool... hmm... but anyways, this is it so far. ^^;

Ooh! Is so cool! And I have an idea! For the shirt! My friend's brother is a goth, and so are his friends and they have badges! Only theydun look like badges. They look like squares the size of your palm w/ a safety pin in each corner to get it on the shirt or whatever. I like around his eye by the way.

HAHA THAT PERSON WAS RIGHT, U ARE A SLUT AND BOY ARE YOU UUUUUUUUUGLY! U CANNOT DRAW TO SAVE UR LIFE I MEAN LOOK AT THE PICTURE I AM COMMENTING ON WHATS THE HELL IS UP WITH IT, ITS SO SHITE. I CAN DRAW SO MUCH BETTER AND SO CAN ANYONE ELSE. YOU COPYED GOLDENWOLF AND YOU KNOW IT, SHE IS 10 TIMES BETTER THAN YOU AND YOU ALWAYS COMPLAIN THAT PEOPLE STEEL YOUR WORK ( I DONT SEE WHY ) AND THEN YOU GO AND COPY THE EXACT SAME PICTURE OF GOLDENWOLF AND CLAIM IT AS YOURS SO THEIF, GET YOUR OWN STYLE. PAH!

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 03:59 PM

Okay big talker, prove it. Get a site, upload your art, and prove to me that you can draw. And believe me, I can spot a theif, I know a lot of artists around the web, and if I don't, I can guarentee that I know someone who does.

takes out a can of gasoline and a match >D... to be cont in next message...

OH AND BY THE WAY GOTHS DONT LOOK ANYTHING LIKE THAT, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THINK AROUND HIS EYE? GOTHS DONT DO THAT AND GOTHS WEAR REALLY BAGGY JEANS AND BLACK SHORT SLEEVE TOPS WITH A BANDS NAME ON IT, YOUR SO DUMB. I MEAN WHEN I FIRST SAW YOUR DRAWINGS I THOUGHT THEY WERE WELL GOOD CAUSE I TOUGHT YOU WAS LIKE 16 BUT THEN I FOUND OUT YOU WAS 24! I MEAN YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DRAW 40 TIMES BETTER THEN THIS I MEAN COME ON AND YOU GO ON NEOPETS! OH YEAH YOUR COOL, YOUR 24 AND YOU HAVE A VIRTUAL PETS AND GO ON KIDS WEBSITES. WHY DONT YOU JUST GO KILL YOURSELF CAUSE IM SUPPRISED SOMEONE HASNT ALREADY!

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 04:00 PM

Wow, you are so right.. I should just end it all right now, cuz you told me to. koff ¬¬

Okay, this is what I have to say back to you: YOU ARE AN IDIOT! Wana know why? Of course you do! yay!Okay, so here are the reasons as to why you are mentally challenged:

One: Neopets is a FAMILY site you idiot- ppl that are over 50 years old play it, so don't talk about something you DON'T KNOW!! anything about.

Two: Goth's wear whatever they DAMN WELL PLEASE!!! IdiOt. The don't wear band shirts, what frigging wanabe goths do you hang out with?

Three: You //really// must have no life cuz you decide to come onto my gallery, flame me, again and for the second day in a row, agree with YOURSELF? Wow, what sort of pathetic deprived sort of cube do you live in?

Seriously, do you just wake up in the morning, look in the mirror and say to yourself "Man, I am such an ass." and grin about it? Cuz I guarentee, asses only get so far in life. Sure you can make some ppl laugh with your idiotic comments, and even give yourself some attention for being to total assanine indiviual you are, but regular people with more respect for others get sick of people like you real quick. So keep that in mind, when you're all alone one night, and feel like crapping on someone's art just of the hell of it (cuz oh, it's so damn funny) that what goes around, comes around, and in your case, it'll come around 10 fold.

dumps 10 gallons of gasoline over flamer, then lights the match, tosses it, 'it' bursts into flames and screams in agony Ah, bliss. =) Burn baby! BURN!!!!

Hey Makiki, why don't you get a life? No one here is going to listen to your meaningless bull. Julie is a wonderful artist. You obviously don't know anything about Julie. So what if she's 24? She got a late start on drawing. Neopets is NOT a kids site, it's a family site. Are you really stupid enough to come in here and say all this crap? Julie knows better then to listen to your rude comments. I'm really fed up with all of you flamers. You come in here and insult her, but what you say is all wrong! She DID NOT copy Goldenwolf. For one thing, you're totally contridicting yourself. You say that Julie steals Goldenwolf's art, yet her version of it sucks? What's that all about? What an idiot! I hope someone murders you. No one here on this earth likes you. Go to hell. You obviously don't know much about goths either. I have some goth friends, and not all goths look the same. Go somewhere else and flame someone else's art because Julie has more friends to back her then you'll ever have in your pathetic life. Maybe you should try to get a like, eh?

To Julie: This is a great picture. The outline looks even better then the sketch. Wipes his make-up off There, now he looks cute ^^;;;; Keep it up Julie. Lovin' the art. Also, don't listen to them... I'll have to find out who they are and personally kick their @$$. LYLAS

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 04:16 PM

Thanx. ^^; People like what's his butt over there points to flamer just need to be ignored. Betcha ten to one, they keep coming back. They're not getting a rise outta me however, I don't give a crap about their comments cuz all they're doing is blowing it outta their butt. (Which coincedentally is atop of their neck).

^^; Glad ye like me piccy. =D

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 03:15 PM

Flamers are idiots who are desperate for attention. This is a very nice piece of art. That is all.

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 04:09 PM

Hey, makiki. What's up with you? First of all, from wat I know, Goth isn't a look, it's kinda like a religion. What do u mean he doesn't LOOK like a goth? I dun think goth means wearing baggy clothes and shirts with band names on them. Loser. I ain't even a goth and I know this. Sure goths somtimes wear similar things, but there is no "goth" look acording to wat i heard, u dirty peice of crap. Julie is a great artist and I shouldn't even have to go over the reasons y u were being stupid.

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 04:18 PM

Goth is usually anything in dark contrasting colors. It's no one style for sure. Goth's wear whatever they want, and some of them do take it very seriously and it's almost a religion cuz they practice Druid stuff sometimes. But it all depends on the person. Everyone is different. Gothic is the word the world gives them... so yeah. Flame boy over there obviously has no clue what he's talking about... I know some goths anyways, (no personally, but online) or know some ppl that know some goths, and they tell me the same thing... and it's pretty obvious that Goth's don't conform, that's what makes them goths... >>;

And definatly they don't wear band shirts, (not like the band shirts most ppl wear anyways, but for the most part, I haven't ever seen a goth wear a shirt w/ a band name on it....) ((if any 'goth' reads this, feel free to correct me, but in a tasteful way plz))

Anyways, heh, thanx for sticking up for me, as well as everyone else. ^^ And for liking my work. ^^

This is a supercool outline, Julie-bear. Lucas's character is really starting to develop. He looks great, girlie, good job. I really like his face in this piccy, it looks really... erm... what's the word I'm looking for? Soft? Effeminate? That might be it... he just looks really slender and fluid... it's way cool.

To Makookoo or Makaka or whatever your name is, you're NOT clever, you're NOT smart, and I REALLY REALLY doubt you're as talented as you say you are. Coming to someone's gallery just so you can flame them doesn't make you sound cool, it makes you sound moronic. Do yourself a favor and grow the %#@$ up. And personally, I don't know a single goth who wears band-named shirts. You might be thinking of punks or sk8ers, but not goths. Get your facts straight so you don't sound any more moronic than you already do. helps Julie torch the stupid flamer lol, I fart in your general direction! Leave, or I will taunt you a second time! lol

Purposely ignores flamer, being above listening to the filth that sticks to her shoe after cleaning the horse pen

Ok, about goths:

I know a bunch of them (There's a HUGE gothic population at my school, not sure why). No, they don't all have one look (that sorta defeats the 'nonconformist' thing, doesn't it?) but as a general rule, they usually wear a lot of black. The girls at least almost always have really pale white base makeup, and black lipstick, eyeliner, etc. The hair is usually either black or some dark dye, usually dark red or purple. The pants tend to be baggy jeans, or occasionally something more effeminate for the girls, and the shirts run the gamut from net (like Lucas up there) to standard t-shirts.

I HAVE seen a few goths with band shirts...Rage Against the Machine, Tool, some others...but they're not the 'norm' (as if nonconformists can have a norm, talk about semantics). Oh, and combat/army boots are rather popular with 'em.

And as for religion...a lot of goths are wiccan, or other related/semi-related druidic religions. a lot more of them are atheists. The defining factor isn't really religion, it's the way they choose to stand out from the group. As a general rule, they're people who are deeper, perhaps more philisophical, than the average population, so decided to speak out against it by wearing the above-clothing and usually being rather quiet in group settings (modern day beatniks?). A bunch of them are rather depressed, often with destructive tendencies (masochism, suicidal natures) and many are into drugs, but this is certainly not a part of the 'goth' thing, just something that seems to crop up. Most are depressed/destructive/whatever BEFORE turning goth and go gothic so they can have an identity.

pant

And there you go--everything I know about goths, from my multitude of white-faced, black-clothed friends.

Hey makiki, I have a present for you, you wanna know what it is?

IT'S A BIG CAN OF LETS BEAT THE SH!T OUT OF MAKIKI! YAY!! I CAN'T WAIT!!! HOPEFULLY YOU WILL BURN IN THAT BIG ASS CAN OF GASOLINE JULIE POURED ON YOU!!

Let me tell you something, that YOU OBVIOUSLY don't know, ok?

According to their own traditions, the Goths originated in a land called 'Gothiscandza', identified as southern Scandinavia. It was population pressure which, according to their legends, caused them to move en masse to what would become their long standing homeland between the Oder and the Vistula, in what is now Poland. Unfortunately, there is no archaeological evidence to support the legend. What does seem to have happened is that there was a slow, steady drift from the Oder-Vistula region into the Ukraine, or Scythia as it was known to the ancients.

This region already contained a very mixed population, and the Goths would very certainly have mixed with these to produce a population that was far from homogeneous. By the middle of the Third Century AD, they were becoming a formidable power, of which the Romans were given notice when a Gothic army crossed the Danube in 238, extorting substantial bribes before withdrawing.

It did not take long for Goths to find their way into the ranks of the Imperial Army, and there may even have existed a formal treaty with the Emperor Gordian III. This did not prevent a second invasion in 250, the Goths being led by their king, Kniva, who also commanded warriors of other tribes, including the Vandals, as well as a number of Roman deserters. Kniva led his army as far south as Philippopolis, which he sacked, then comprehensively defeated a Roman army at Abrittus in 251.

Further invasions followed, including sea-borne raids, culminating with the taking of no less a prize than Trebizond. A massive invasion of Asia Minor followed, resulting in the acquisition of massive plunder and many slaves, who may have been instrumental in the conversion of the Goths to Christianity. The subsequent spread of the new religion was largely the work of Ulfila, a native Goth, born in about 311. It was Ulfila, also, who created the Gothic alphabet, which enabled his translation of the Bible into Gothic. The fact that the strand of Christianity which took hold amongst the Goths was Arianism, was to prove significant centuries later, when they came up against the Catholic Franks.

Gothic power came to an abrupt and dramatic end in the 270s, when the Emperor Aurelian caught up with a raiding army and destroyed it, killing the Gothic king, Cannabaudes. This precipitated a major shift in the balance of power in Eastern Europe. The appearance of the Gepids to fill the vacuum, drove a wedge between the Tervingi branch of the Goths, west of the Dniester, and the Greutungi, east of the Sea of Azov. While the Tervingi consolidated their realm between the Dniester and the Danube, and became known to the Romans as the 'Visigoths', the Greutungi, or Ostrogoths, were conquered by the Huns, who swept into Europe from the Asiatic steppes in the latter half of the Fourth Century.

NOW That I have taught you something, I hope you will keep it in your head for the rest of you small little life. Did I give you a history lesson, hope so ^^

o0o0o... Eats flamer Hmm... Has the bitterness of mother flucker, with a hint of asswipe. >_o

Are you some type of perverted flemwad? Better yet, do you want to be one? You're doing a great job... It's nice how you flame Julie's beautiful work, really... Go prance around, you should be flucking proud of yourself. Let me get a few things straight, easy enough for you to understand, you with your little hollow-headed, pea-brained mind.

Damnit, goths can wear whatever the hell they want. o0o0o, Julie made one with tatoos... Sobs I guess that means her art sucks! Please ¬¬ get a flucking life.

Neopets, might I tell you, you flucking idiot, is a family site. I have a 47-year-old friend on there... Hm.. Ever though that there are 40-year-olds who flucking CREATE THE SITE? Get your facts straight, arsehole.

Hmm.. I wonder how Julie is ugly, especially when you've never seen her. Does that make sense? Nuh-uh... sorry your asswipe theory didn't come out as well as you had planned. On the other picture, Carmen said she'd seen a picture of Julie, and she said Julie is beautiful on not just the outside, but on the inside too. //I// for sure believe her, because Julie is amazing and talented, and is a wonderful person in general. Go figure, moron.

You know, it's sad that little ignorent twits like you exist in our world, and they can't all be wiped out. I always wonder what goes through that small mind of yours when you post crap like this. Go flucking bleed to death in some desert, I'll watch as the vultures pick at your flesh and die because it's poison.

And finally... I hope you know, that this crap reflects on you, and when you're older, and GOD FORBID get married and have children, (Pfft, like that'd ever happen like a mother flucking jackass like you anyway) you'll see how you acted, how childish you were, and far away, I shall laugh! HAHAHA!

All in all... Fluck you. Get a life. Seriously, you need one, and no, I am not concerned for how you will turn out... But I hope nobody else will have to endure your flucking comments like the mother flucking flamer that you are. Let's see your backup, really, because so far nobody agrees with you (Except for yourself, which is beyond pathetic) and so far Julie has everyone behind her 100%.

Good day to you, Flucking Flamer.

~~

Julie... I really hate it, knowing you have to endure this bullshit.. But know how crappy these people are... And know that your work is beautiful, no matter what ^^ You know what a great artist you are, and you shouldn't let asswipes like this discourage you. Hold your head up high, and ignore them. Ignore the bakas, that's what I say! Huggles you ^^ And, almost forgot - AWESOME PICCY! I luff Lucas, he so cool ^^ Color this, damnit, color this >_o I luff him =P Huggles him

Shoots flamer with gun, lets it go straight through head, cackles as "it" bleeds to death XD;;;

Posted: Monday, 17 March, 2003 @ 09:19 PM

By the way, Julie, don't let pieces of crap and no good garbage get to your head like her. She's just jealous and can't draw worth crap

Love the drawing, you have a very unique way for tattoos and the hair looks very very purtty ^_^ The little ma bobber under the eye looks like dripping blood, I think it is that, right? Tis very coolio. I totally adore the way his pants like sway moves back and forth Once I hook up my scanner, I must show you Claire, I am very excited ^^;;

Keep up that WONDERFUL, MAGNIFICENT, FABTABULOUS (is that a word? -.-) work!! Nice, VERY nice! nods Peace Out!

    four: there is no way that you can "steal" an aart style...i think Julie ahs stated that already, and if you know ANYTHING(withc i doubt)about art, you should know that....its like a basic thing...stupid dumb-ass monkey-on-a-stick...

Julie, you have driven me to draw, and it helped me because my family went through a big crisis and i found a sort of"happy place"(i know it soundz baby-ish but ohwell...)in drawing, its a chance to express you r imagination- Mom in background:"AMEN TO THAT!!"she is an artist too) ...ok....anyway, you would know that you stupid flamer,if you were an actual artsit!!!your work is great julie, dont ever stop,and i suggest you just ignore the damn flamers so they`ll buzz off before someone sqashes them like the bugs they are... Mom:"amen amen AMEN!!!" koff koff
