She's very cute! What species is she? I have a few critiques for this piece, if you don't mind. First off, the linework is really 'jaggy' and low res. Try scanning at a very high DPI next time. Since this is a character concept kind of drawing, I won't nitpick much about the generic pose. I really like her hair, btw. :3 Oh yeah, and the background- it may be part of the style to have a bigger form of the picture as the background, but in most cases, it looks very strange and out of place. It's not that much harder to just draw a background. :) And finally- contrast! Contrast is good, contrast is your friend. It is what will make your pictures POP the most, and give your objects form and weight. Don't be afraid to make those darks dark and those lights light! :3 Keep at it!
