who is she and what is her colorful self thinking? by @beatcrab (beatnik crab)

i've never tried drawing hair this way, so i gave it a shot. except i was too lazy to color it the normal way. i really like how it came out, though. 2002

WOW BeatNikCrab!! This pic is AWESOME!! I love the penwork, it's SOO fluid and smooth, very VERY professional looking! The poor thing looks sooo sad, I love the hair, but the lines are my favorite part, I still can't get my inking to look like that! Great job, I love it!!

another outstanding job of stylized penmanship- the line weight and confidence in the strokes is superb and so pristine & precise! The minimalist take on the facial features- yet punctuated by the gorgeous facial markings and beadwork are both shrewd & lavish, and the supple, clean curves of the hair are simply magnificent!

lol I know this isn't the kind of comment you were looking for, but I LOVE the little crab you drew near your signature! Have you always done that? It's perfect!

The eyes are my favorite! I love this picture BeatNik!! You did a spectacular job on the lines, I just love looking at it! The coloring is neat, I like the way you changed the colors of the lines, it matches and works out pretty good! Are you going to color it any furthur?

I know it's been said, but I was really taken by the strength of these lines! Love the beads.

That was cool. She looks kind of bored/blase and yet disapproving at the same time, like, "Please, that was SO pedestrian." What's she really thinking?

First, let me compliment you on your linework! I really enjoyed your pictures. Linework is not my strong point, and I was really impressed with your art!
