Umi
Umi "Comics" by @fragmented_imagination (B Sanders)

The next on my roster of anthropomorphized stories is Umi, who is "Radio Chatter". Her hair style is similar to the main character as well as the uniform jacket she has on. This time, I took time to make a somewhat decent background. She's standing on a stack of comics because "Radio Chatter" is intended to be written in comic form.

Because I tend to notice the weird little things, my favorite parts of this picture are the shading on her skirt, the semi-abstract background (very cool), and the way you used a sort of TV-snow effect to make the edges of the comic book pages look inky. The shadow looks excellent, too. Great attention to detail.

As far as crit: Have you considered taking up a quick study of anatomy drawing? It might make your characters' arms and legs look a little more natural. I've been doing that myself and I've found it helps a lot. Just a thought. ^^;

Cute pic!

@DaGrandDragonn: Thank you. It's an old one; I need to do another picture for her.
