Rooftop Duel
Rooftop Duel by @deaddays (John Rios)

Just a drawing of an idea I had for my (possibly) upcoming Alcander comic. It's a oldschool samurai duel on the rooftops of modern New York city. Whether or not I do the comic, I am pretty sure I'll at least draw this battle (2-3 pages maybe). So there will be at lease SOME comic action featuring that bandaged bastard.
P.S. Those buildings were drawn and inked by hand using a ruler and patience. The only thing I photoshoped in was the halftone dots. In case you were wondering. Artwork © Copyright 2002 John Rios

Wow, This is so...Movieish! I mean, if not a comic, this could so become a feture film. I could see this being a zoom in shot. Kudos on the inking man. Not many artist will do all that just for effect sake. -Jamie
