Solitude on the Cliffside
Solitude on the Cliffside by @JesterAG (Al Gonzalez)

Again, this is an original work. This is a character from an RPG pet project of mine using the Aurora Engine that powers Neverwinter Nights. This is just a little doodle I cooked up during my Modern Art class and refined in my Bible Lit class. I'm actually quite fond of the way it is now and just might leave it in red and just finish the environment. This guy's name is simply Jerrick. (General or 'my lord' to his inferiors) I actually worry about this guy because I've never colored him in, so I can't really describe what he's supposed to look like. What I'm playing with right now is deathly pale skin, silver hair, and appropriate colors for his armor. Brown for leather, silver for metal, etc. Color wise, he isn't too special. Where he's standing is a cliffside with two of the three moons of the world he lives on in the sky. I'm still new at the rock shading thing, so any feedback would be much appreciated.

nice work on the red monochrome shading. like it more than the full-color job!

I personally like this version better, myself. He looks much more somber and has a lot more personality in monochrome. Then again, I'm a sucker for black and white photos, too, so I guess I have a bias towards monochrome.
