 Spoors: Spoors Logo
Spoors: Spoors Logo by @MyFurryMind

Here it is, you guys! The official logo to my current comic project, called Spoors! It used to be called "Footprints", but there was a reasonable discussion between my hubby and I for changing the title.

I learned that the term footprints is symbolically/spiritually portrayed in a Christian poem. It is a very beautiful one, and did reflect the idea on why I chose the title in the first place. However, tying religion into this universe of furries that I'm creating is not what I'm focusing on. I needed something to represent the horrific and dramatic nature of the comic series, which in this case will be revealed eventually, so a change had to be made. Thusly, Spoors became the chosen title!

As for the design of the logo itself, there was a mass exchange of ideas that I went over with my hubby, which resulted in this crazy neon-like splash of colors with a bubbly text and freakishly bloody pawprints. They are all significant to the meaning of the story, but it will be a long while till you all can figure it out, hehe.

Trust me, you guys are in for a big surprise, hehe.

Anyway, enjoy! Look forward to more updates on the project!

I just looked up the definition of ‘spoors’, and I do think it makes more sense for this story in a way or two.

It looks like the footprints in the logo are under some kind of ultraviolet light. That detail does get me thinking if it’s possible that some kind of investigation might take place in your story. I could be wrong, though!
