Thank you for your comment. About the scanner, I don't have one, but my brother does, however he doesn't live with me. So i dropped this one at his place, and he took care of it. I didn't know he wasn't going to crop it, lol. To be honest, i really don't know how to work with a scanner, or how to crop, so he does it for me. Your tips on coloring really helped jinx, i just wish i had some tougher colored pencils, i can't use a pencil sharpener on these, because the lead breaks, so i have to use a razor. This pic almost completely dissolved a few of my colors because of it....... lol. wel anyway, i'm running on N on. Thanks for the help, and the coment (much appreciated)
Sincerely, Ikaika
I'm glad my advice helped you. This is a cute picture, and I really like the concept. Nicely drawn, as well, particularly the faerie's hair and ears. The file is awfully big, though. I would save this image as a JPEG and compress it a bit. Generally, compression doesn't cost much quality in a pencil colored picture, and you can at least get it down to 100kb without seeing any noticeable difference. Also, it would help to crop out the extra parts around the picture - blank scanner bed, I presume? The picture itself is nice, though. I look forward to more from you.
